You can register to vote by mail, in person or on line.

CHECK TO SEE IF YOU ARE REGISTERED  – Visit the My Voter Search page on the NYS Board of Elections website to check to see if and how you are registered in New York State.

ONLINE REGISTRATION – To register online you must have a NYSDMV issued identification and complete the brief form here: https://voterreg.dmv.ny.gov/MotorVoter/

BY MAIL or IN PERSON – To register by mail or in person, you will need to complete a voter registration form that you can download here. You can also call the NYS voter registration hotline at 1-800-FOR-VOTE to request a voter application.

• MAIL REGISTRATION – Application forms must be received by the Greene County Board of Elections, 411 Main Street, Catskill, NY 12414 no later than October 28th to be eligible to vote in the 2023 General Election.
• IN-PERSON REGISTRATION – You may register at the Greene County Board of Elections or at offices of any of these state agencies  (Link to list of NYS agencies where you can register to vote http://www.elections.ny.gov/NVRA.html), on any business day throughout the year but, to be eligible to vote in the General Election, your application form must be received no later than October 28th. (If honorably discharged from the US Military or have become a naturalized US Citizen after October 12th, you may register in person at the Board of Elections up until October 28th.)

CHANGE OF ADDRESS
Notices of change of address from registered voters received no later than October 23, 2023 by a county board of elections must be processed and entered in the records in time for the General Election.

CHANGE OF ENROLLMENT
An application to change one’s party enrollment for 2023 was February 14, 2023. No date has been set for the 2024 change of party enrollment deadline.
