Denise Taber is a lifelong Greene County resident who has lived in New Baltimore for 26 years.

She is very active in the community, and is a former member of the New Baltimore Zoning Board of Appeals. Denise has a long history of leadership and involvement with our dedicated first responders: volunteering as a 26 year member of the Cornell Hook and Ladder Auxiliary in New Baltimore, and as a 30 year member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Greene County Volunteer Firemen’s Association.

An enrolled Republican, Denise is making her first run for public office. She deeply believes in People over Politics, and is dedicated to serving all residents of New Baltimore regardless of party enrollment. As evidence of her commitment to serving as Town Supervisor, she has mounted a write-in campaign in which voters will literally need to write in her name on the November election ballot. She is excited to go the extra mile to earn the support of local residents, and will bring this same energy to her leadership role as Supervisor.

Denise worked for 19 years as a property/casualty insurance underwriter, as a Stewart’s manager for six years, and was also a New Baltimore school bus driver safely transporting our kids to classes. Currently, she works in administration at Albany Medical Center.

A graduate of Cairo Durham High School, Denise earned a Certificate in Secretarial Studies with Legal Emphasis from Herkimer County Community College.

She is a proud mother of two and grandmother of one.
