Thomasina Winslow

Thomasina Winslow has lived in the town for a combined 40 years. Born and raised here, Thomasina attended local schools, went away to college and for work, and after getting her music degrees and traveling the world performing her music, returned home to live and start a business. Thomasina is an internationally and nationally acclaimed acoustic blues artist and singer/songwriter. As one of three founders of the New Baltimore Arts & Music Festival, and the Founder/Director of STEAM– Strength Through Expressive Arts Mentoring program, Thomasina meets people where they are, creates collaborative opportunities and builds community. She has degrees and diplomas in music, performing arts, and construction contractor management. She serves on the boards of directors of two non-profit organizations, Tribe Hill Heritage Center and Hudson River Clearwater providing with the aforementioned collaborative, leadership and implementation skills – which will serve her well as a Town Council Member. Registered as a Democrat, Thomasina is endorsed by the Democratic Party, The Working Families Party, and the New Baltimore Independent Hills and River line and will be running on all three lines on the ballot.
